Bossier Has a New Place To Gather

Chef's Table By BeauxJax offers a private East Bank experience

The East Bank District has been growing into THE place to be in the Ark-La-Tex over the last few years and it's not surprising to see another entertainment driven establishment open in Bossier City's new open container district. Chef's Table by BeauxJax is the newest endeavor of local restaurateurs, Chef Aaron 'Peanut' Hanning and Beau Hays. Chef's Table is a small private event space and catering kitchen aimed at providing a unique way to gather in the East Bank.

With BeauxJax Crafthouse and Frozen Pirogue busting at the seems with both local and out of town traffic, larger parties and special events have had a tough time finding the space they want in the East Bank. Chef Hanning commented, "We've spent the last several years listening to what our guests want, and a private space seems to be high on their list."

Chef's Table opened it's doors quietly this past weekend as it has seen a steady flow of bookings during the months it spent remodeling 521 Barksdale Blvd for this venue. Chef's table offers a 50-75 person space with on site dining and beverage service. The venue is uniquely positioned to host birthdays, anniversary parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings, private cocktail hours, networking events, and small weddings. In addition to hosting events booked by the public, Chef's Table will host what Hays referred to as "Underground Dinners". Underground dinners will be ticketed dining events, featuring out of the boxed, chef driven menus that will be exclusively offered to BeauxJax Facebook followers on a first come basis.

BeauxJax has a long history of catering. In 2015 BeauxJax began building a name for itself as a small food truck and catering company. In recent years the company's focus has shifted to developing the 500 block of Barksdale Blvd into a bustling entertainment district. Hanning and Hays expressed their excitement to be returning to their roots in catering. Chef's Table's dedicated kitchen will allow BeauxJax to expand their service reach to off site catering.

Chef's Table will be managed by Brittney Reeve. Her unique attention to detail and feminine touch to the BeauxJax brand is sure to add an elevated dining experience to the already proven BeauxJax menus. As part of the booking process, Brittney offers a free private consultation for each event.

Chef's Table has also used its space to incubate the growth of new baking business owned by BeauxJax's own Kasey Shaw. Kasey, who bartends at BeauxJax Crafthouse has been building her own dessert and sweet treat business called Sugar Sheaux. Hays and Hanninng are proud to team with her to provide guests with custom dessert options and give Sugar Sheaux the space to grow into something much larger.

In addition to offering a privately booked space the district itself offers extras that cannot be found with other venues in the area. Guests to Chefs Table can utilize the district's open container classification to mingle amongst outdoor musical entertainment provided by Hanning and Hays' other establishment. Chef's Table by BeauxJax is within walking distance of the Horseshoe Casino and has a large number of lodging options within walking distance for out of town guests.
